"Sanders is exactly right and this line of questioning illustrates just how delusional the political narrative in Washington has become. Republicans – by shutting down the government, by filibustering everything, by threatening to impeach – have behaved so incredibly badly that just “working together” seems like a major victory for Democrats. They are behaving like bullies and they want Democrats to just be grateful when they aren’t giving them wet willies. It’s the political ideology of Just be happy we aren’t behaving worse and give us what we want – or maybe we will."
