"Let’s face it, we have a good portion of the Republican party that couldn’t care less if Russia is trying to interfere in our elections, create chaos in this country, and undermine our democracy. While I’m sure there are still some who place more emphasis on putting the best interests of this country over their political party, the GOP’s embrace (and defense) of Trump proves that most of them place more loyalty with their political party than their country. To make matters worse, most of Trump’s supporters couldn’t care less if he colluded with Russia, either. As sad and disheartening as it is to think about, there are tens of millions of people in this country who would be perfectly fine with Trump stating publicly that he colluded with the Russian government to undermine the 2016 election."
