Kansas GOP Legislature Eliminates Due Process For Teachers In War On Public Education
"At the end of a marathon weekend session, both houses of the state legislature approved a school finance bill which takes away protection that teachers in the state have enjoyed since 1957, while providing tax breaks for corporations which supply scholarships to exclusive private schools.
It comes as no surprise that the legislation was backed and promoted by the Koch-owned Americans for Prosperity (AFP), who steal our country gradually by changing the laws first at the state level, working up to the federal level."
